AI@Work HR Conference will explore how human judgment and AI can work together

On November 13–14, 2025, HR leaders, managers, and technology specialists will gather in Bucharest for the AI@Work HR Conference. The event addresses a central question: how do we use artificial intelligence in human resources without losing the human touch?

AI@Work HR, organized by NetConnect Group, is an annual conference where professionals from HR, leadership, and technology come together to discuss how AI can support people, decisions, and organizations in a responsible way.

A handshake for the future

This year's conference theme, A handshake for the future, reflects a simple but important idea: technology should support human judgment, not replace it.

Since AI tools became widely accessible, they have generated both excitement and skepticism. Early outcomes revealed clear limitations and raised valid concerns around trust, bias, and real-world relevance. When people are involved, these concerns matter even more.

AI@Work HR addresses these challenges directly by prioritizing ethical, people-centered uses of AI in human resources, rather than focusing on abstract ideas or automation for its own sake.

What the conference will explore

Over two days, more than 20 speakers from Romania and abroad will share real experiences, case studies, and practical insights on topics such as:

• How leadership and organizational culture evolve in the digital era

• Using AI-generated data to support strategic HR decisions

• AI in recruitment, from screening and matching to onboarding

• New skills HR professionals need in a rapidly changing landscape

• Risks, limits, and ethical considerations when using AI in HR

• How to maintain authenticity and empathy in automated processes

The agenda is built around clarity, helping participants understand what works and what does not, so AI can become a reliable partner rather than a source of confusion.

A practical, experience-driven agenda

AI@Work HR is designed for professionals who want more than theory.

The agenda includes keynote talks, expert panels, and workshops that encourage direct dialogue and honest discussion. Participants are invited to ask difficult questions, challenge assumptions, and learn from concrete examples shared by leaders in HR, business, and technology.

Sessions on Day 1 also include Headcount, showcasing how the platform supports recruitment while aligning with the conference principle of using AI to improve decisions without removing the human element from hiring.

Who should attend

The conference is intended for:

• HR professionals and managers

• Organizational leaders and decision-makers

• HR and digital transformation consultants

• Technology and AI specialists working with HR teams

Whether you are already using AI in HR or still evaluating where it fits, AI@Work HR offers a balanced, practice-driven perspective.
